5. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Wyoming Valley Real Estate operates an SMS messaging program for affiliated agents who have opted in through the agent portal SMS Communication Preferences section. This section describes what information we collect for the program, how it is used, and your rights.

Information collected for SMS: mobile phone number, opt-in timestamp, opt-in source, message content you send or receive through the program, and delivery metadata such as message status, carrier responses, and timestamps returned by our SMS provider.

How we use SMS data: to send real estate lead notifications, client communication updates, showing updates, appointment reminders, transaction updates, account notifications, and program administration messages, such as opt-in confirmations and STOP/HELP responses. We use delivery metadata to troubleshoot failed messages and maintain program quality.

Message frequency and rates: message frequency varies based on account activity and the events that trigger a message. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Wyoming Valley Real Estate does not charge a fee to receive messages.

Opt-in and opt-out: Agents opt in by checking the SMS consent box and submitting or confirming their phone number in the agent portal SMS Communication Preferences section. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of employment, account access, or purchasing services. Agents can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from the program. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

No sharing of mobile information or SMS consent with third parties for marketing: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for this messaging program are not shared, sold, rented, disclosed, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances. We share this information only with service providers that directly enable message delivery, such as our SMS platform Twilio, acting on our behalf under contract.
